| En el nostre segon dia a Abu Simbel, encara tenim les espectaculars imatges dels temples a dins de la nostra retina… i per molts anys. A primera hora ens reserven una sorpresa: ens porten al Centre de Visitants dels Temples perquè puguem observar com surt el sol i il·lumina els temples. Llavors tornem a l’Hotel a menjar un reconfortant esmorzar, i després s’iniciarà la tornada cap a Assuàn, on hi arribarem sobre les 12:00 o 13:00 hores. Ens n’anirem a l’aeroport internacional d’Assuàn, per agafar un vol amb destinació al Caire, i primer de tot, anirem a buscar el nostre hotel del Caire, ubicat a la zona de les Piràmides. Aquí i avui, també, serem espectadors d’un espectacle de llum i sò que es farà en la zona de les Piràmides de Giza. Tot molt espectacular. |

1. Tornada d’Abu Simbel a Assuàn
A primera hora, abans d’esmorzar, el guia ens proposa acostar-nos un altre cop als Temples d’Abu Simbel abans de que surti el sol, i veure les façanes mentres l’astre rei està sortint. I així ho vam fer. Abans de les 7:00h ens vam presentar al Centre de Visitants i ens van deixar passar fins a tenir una perspectiva molt bona dels dos temples. Encara era fosc però una mica ja estava clarejant…
La sortida del sol des del Llac Nasser va ser quasi de lo més espactacular que hi pot haver.
La sortida del sol sobre els Temples d’Abu Simbel va valdre molt la pena. Vam observar com la roca i els temples canviaven de color i s’anàven il·luminant mica en mica fins a la seva totalitat. Va valdre la pena fer aquest esforç.
Després ens en vàrem anar a l’hotel a menjar un reconfortant esmorzar, perquè havíem d’emprendre el retorn cap a Assuàn. El guia tenia la intenció d’arribar a Assuan sobre les 12:00 i les 13:00 hores. El viatge de tornada va ser molt especial. Teníem una sensació molt bona després d’haver estat dos dies en aquesta meravella que es diu Abu Simbel.
2. Vol Assuàn – El Caire
Un cop vàrem arribar a Assuàn, vam anar a l’hotel de la nit anterior a buscar la resta de les maletes que no ens havíem emportat a Abu Simbel. Era qüestió d’anarnos-en a l’aeroport Internacional d’Assuàn a buscar el nostre vol que havia de sortir cap al Caire. Com sempre, els trasllats de l’hotel a l’aeroport els vàrem contractar amb Civitatis. Vam volar amb la companyia Air Cairo i la durada del vol va ser de 1 hora i 20 minuts. Allí també vam contractar els trasllats de l’aeroport fins al nostre hotel a la zona de les Piràmides de Giza. L’hotel era el Pyramids Park Resort Hotel, un complexe de 5 estrelles que ens va fascinar d’entrada. L’hotel el teníem a 10 minuts en cotxe de les Piràmides, a tocar del Gran Museu Egipci. Quan avançàvem amb el trasllat privat cap a l’Hotel, vam travessar Giza per l’Avinguda anomenada Al Haram (Cairo Mall). No m’oblidaré mai, un cop vam arribar al fons de l’avinguda, de les vistes i sensacions que vam tenir quan vam veure per primer cop les Piràmides a davant nostre. Estàvem dins el cotxe, però tant era.
3. Espectacle de llum i sò a les Piràmides de Giza
Vam anar a l’Hotel a descansar una miqueta i preparar-nos per la sortida que havíem de fer per anar a veure l’Espectacle de Llum i So que es feia cada nit a davant de les Piràmides de Giza. L’espectacle de llums i sò en les Piràmides es celebra cada nit en l’esplanada junt a la gran Esfinx. En ell s’explica la història de les piràmides i la seva construcció a través de veu, música i projeccions en la pròpia esfinx i el temple contigu. Té una durada de aproximadament una hora i cada passi es fa en un idioma, segons el predominant dels visitants. No et preocupis, si no es realitza en castellà, et donaràn un auricular perquè ho puguis entendre tot. L’espectacle es fa cada dia dues vegades, però l’horari és diferent segons el moment de l’any. Lo normal és que sigui a les 19:00 o les 19:30h i a les 20:00 o 20:30h. En període de Ramadà, acostuma a ser més tard.
Pots comprar la teva entrada directament en la guixeta junt a l’Esfinx o reservar el teu sopar i entrada a l’espectacle nocturn en les piràmides. Aquesta excursió inclou el trasllat des de i fins al teu hotel. Molts viatgers opten per veure l’espectacle “gratuït” des d’algun restaurant proper o des del seu propi hotel. Dos bons exemples son el Great Pyramid Inn i el Cleopatra Pyramids View. Nosaltres vam agafar un taxi per anar a les guixetes de l’esfinx a comprar les entrades, i més tard en hi varem acostar amb un altre taxi per presenciar l’espectacle.
